change your authentication on the database to server. So uncatalog the
database, catalog it again with authentication server , do a db2 terminate
to flush the catalog cache and you should be good to go.

Im assuming that you just upgraded the admin client? or just installed it?

DB2 connect problem










Hi All,

DB2 8.2 DWE AIX.

I am trying to connect from Windows db2 client (Admin client) the the
database on AIX, the connection hangs and does not error out. But when I
log on to server and connect to database it went through immidiatly. I was
able to connect to same before. I haven't change any catalog info.

Not able to figure out what's the problem, no error message also.
