Dear All,

We are using db2 8.2 on WINDOWS 2K.
I am getting the message in db2diag.log file very frequently,

MESSAGE : ADM5502W The escalation of "101313" locks on table "XXX.XXXXX" to
lock intent "S" was successful.

The size of the lockllist param is 2000 and maxlocks is set to 60.

I have also calculated the lower and upper bound for locklist that is give
below

Lower bound of locklist = (512 * X * maxappls) / 4096
= (512 * 40 * 200) / 4096
= 1000
With Concentrator enabled: = (512 * X * max_coordagents) / 4096
= (512 * 40 * 400) / 4096
= 2000

Upper bound for the size of your lock list = (512 * Y * maxappls) / 4096
= ( 512 * 80 * 200 ) / 4096
= 2000


So, can anyone tell me what is wrong with me.

Any help would highly be appreciated.
