We had IBM in our shop, and said, each partition only needs 1 cpu for fast cpu's
and 1-2 for slower ones. They also recommend that we don't go over 400-500 gig
per partition, with the fastest performace seen in the 200-300 gig range. If
you search there website, you will find the recommendation for CPU"s.
