Try the volatile on the table and see what the db2advis says. You can also
look at your join to make sure the keys are in the right order.

Dan,

Thank you for the fast reply. Runstats are run daily, optimization is 5
and I am testing this on a low usage DB, although it is behaving the same
here as production and prod is much higher usage.

Ideas?
