Ed,
Try this instead (calling db2cmd with "/c"):
--EDTESTR.bat file
CD\
D:\
CD\DB2
db2cmd /c db2 -tvf EDTESTR.txt
exit
let me know if it doesn't work, as there is a way to do this.

Subject: DB2CMD (DB2 Version 8.2 for Windows)
To All,
I have created a script (*.bat) file. When I run this script file
everything works outstanding. However, it does not exit DB2CMD. Does
anyone know how I can make this script exit the DB2CMD and the MS-DOS
command prompts?
--EDTESTR.bat file
CD\
D:\
CD\DB2
db2cmd db2 -tvf EDTESTR.txt
exit
--EDTESTR.txt
