RE: Software Build error on v8.2 (upgraded from v7.2)

I'm having the developer search all scripts for a reference to the old
libraries. The first one listed below is the wrong path, but we don't
know yet where it is being set to that value.

dump - Tv /db2home/db2t/sqllib/lib/libdb2.a
or

dump -Tv /rebdev/tridev/triad/prod/triprod/bin/tcmisc/v6.9/tcmisc

So somplace you have profiled the old v7 shared libraries. and not
re-profiled the v8

do a man on dump for the AIX system

PM Software Build error on v8.2

(upgraded from v7.2)

All,

OK all you UDB geniuses, you haven't failed me yet!

Please see the error message a developer is getting in his build once we
provided him a v8 database (just upgraded from v7):

Could not load program
/rebdev/tridev/triad/prod/triprod/bin/tcmisc/v6.9/tcmisc:
Symbol resolution failed for tcmisc because:
Symbol sqlasetdata (number 114) is not exported from dependent
module /db2home/db2t/sqllib/lib/libdb2.a(shr.o).
Examine .loader section symbols with the 'dump -Tv' command.

The module referenced here is the old v7 software directory, so we know
it is the problem, but he is trying to figure out how to run the 'dump
-Tv' command. He says it requires a filename argument passed to it, but
does not know which filename it needs.

Please assist, as we are stuck in the build right now!!

Thanks in advance!
