RE: Problem in exported file

Try ftp'ing it to windoze with the bin option, not the default ascii. You
may be getting a spare carriage return line feed or end of file marker.

Subject: Problem in exported file

Hi,

Can some one suggest why am I facing below problem?

Scenario:

We have run a UNIX script to export data from a table in .del format.
The script has exported 321 rows from a table and created a .del file.
When I try to open this file after ftp'ing it into my local windows machine
it displays 322 lines instead of 321 and last line being an empty line with
no data. As long as I am opening a file its well and good but any load using
this file will result in failure because of empty line (last line).

Any inputs to resolve this issue will be appreciated.

Regards,

Harish
