Re: administrator password

Vijay You can change the adiministrator password by db2admin user
Try to change the password through right clicking on my computer and then
click on "manage" and change the "password".

Re: administrator password

Hi,

I have only experience using DB2 on Linux platform, but I think it should
be similar on Windows.
On linux, there are 3 ids required for DB2: A fenced userid, who runs the
fenced udf/sps; A das id, runs the db2 admin serverl and A instance owner
userid, who control the whole instance.
As I know, for windows, no "fenced user id".
In DB2, every user id binds to a OS user. That means there should be an
existing OS user, then you just grant some priviledges to the user. The
password is the password in OS for the user.
So for linux/unix, ask the root user to reset the password, for windows,
maybe you should find your local admin user or the domain admin user.
Can this give you any help? :-)
