SQL performance

SQL performance

HI all,

I know this question is kinda 'lazy' but just want a quick feedback for a simple question.

I got this long SQL stored procedure that does queries using ".... WHERE regionid = 'E'" and I may have to change it do ".... WHERE regionid LIKE 'E%'" or ".... WHERE regionid in ( 'E1', 'E2', 'E3' .... )" ... will this cause a noticeable affect in so far as SQL query performance is concerned ... ???

Cheers,
