Environment

Server : Solaris (a test server)

Os : Sun OS Ver 5.8

Database udb "DB2 v8.1.0.48", "s040212", "U496794", and FixPak "5"

I am doing some recovery / outage testing and I want to make
db2 instance and or a database 'hang', in order to document and verify the
correct actions to
take in the event of a 'hang'.

I've tried filling the file system where the logs and database files are but
I was still able to
connect to the database

Any Ideas please ?
