RE: udb version 9 question

I talked to IBM this morning. They said that for Linux and Aix the
kernel had to be at 64 bit in order to run db2.

PM udb version 9 question

This is mainly for you IBMers out there. I have been reading the
migration guide for viper and I need some clarification. In order to
install the software the version of linux or unix must be running a 64
bit kernel? Do all instances have to be running at 64 bit?

Thanks
