Investigate in your docs. the two following commands.
PRUNE HISTORY timestamp [WITH FORCE OPTION] [AND DELETE]

PRUNE LOGFILE PRIOR TO log-file-name

Basically with the NUM_DB_BACKUPS parm. of your config file, and the
recovery history file, you can get DB2 to administer which logs to delete
when.
