db2 command

db2 command

THERE IT IS!!!! But one thing..We do need a connection ; that means we
need to connect to a database..

But we don't need a table to do that.

VALUES month('12/12/2006')

Hi Sahil,

I think I'm going to learn something new today.
Is it possible to execute DB2 built-in or UDFs w/o connecting to
database?

Cheers

Subject: db2 command

I forgot the correct syntax for that can you help me please?

I am trying to test some functions return values e.g
month(12/12/1985') and trying to get the result 12 .

When we write it exactly into the command center I get the error "a
db
connection doesn't exist".

What was the method to run the db2-specific functions without connecting

to a database?
