I am trying to create a client instance on a AIX 5.3 server and my admin
is getting :



DBI1281E The database manager configuration file could not be

initialized.



Explanation:



An error occurred when attempting to initialize the database

manager configuration file. A DB2 instance could not be created





inside the log it is referring to come kind of communication error.
This is the first instance for this machine so this has never worked.
What should I have her look at?
