You'll have to poke around a bit to select the product you want. Without knowing specifics about the application to be developed, it's hard to recommend a specific configuration. So, in general, for your server I'd recommend 4GB RAM, 2 processors, and 500GB disk spread across at least 2 drives. Is 500 the right number? Haven't got a clue, really, but it should be enough for most development efforts.
