We'll presume there's a commit at the end of the query.
Filename: catch10
{Catches a query running longer than 600secs. - db name is: dbname - db2gov
wakes up every 60 secs.}
interval 60;
dbname;
set uowtime 600 action CHOICE;
{End of file}
Them {} are for comments.
Uowtime is the time used by the transaction
CHOICE is either priority or force. Priority allows you to reduce the
priority level by on one more (value dependant on OS), force means what it
says. It will roll back the query and force the connection off.
Hope this helps, Pierre.

Does anyone have a sample file to force / capture long running queries say

TGIF :)
Thanks
