You don't want to stop spill files. Spill files are where the data is
kept while replication builds the sql necessary to insert the data into
the target. This is a work file for replication. If you get rid of the
spill file replication would lose the data it was replicating.

I think those spill files are generated by the type of APPLY statement
issued. I had this same problem but as been a while ago. I'll look this
up~!

I have an "update anywhere" replication that causes "spill" files to be
generated... does anyone have any idea why they're caused and how I can
stop them ?
