RE: compliing stored Procedures on iSeriese

Hi,

I suppose the max length of a stored procedure can be 65576 characters
(approx). If length is an issue, and you cannot reduce it, then you
could split the procedure into two and call the child procedure from
within.

Anand

Subject: compliing stored Procedures on iSeriese

Hi All,

I have a problem in compiling stored procedures on the iseries.

It throws up an error message saying

SQL State: 54001
Vendor Code: -99999
Message: SQL statement too long or complex.

But it allows us to compile smaller SP's

I assume there is a problem with the length of the SP

How can I resolve this?
