FYI
The DB2 diagnostic file is located
/..../...../sqllib/db2dump/db2diag.log
The db2 diagnostic (db2diag.log) is the secret to success.
It's DB2's minute by minute diary. Learning to read this file is
essential.
You can be very proactive by viewing this file since DB2 will tell you
when it's beginning to feel sick and requires a tune-up.
On occasions I will scan the tail end of the db2admn.nfy in the same
subdirectory.
