For those who are unsure if you want to apply FP 14, there is another way to apply the patch for DST. IBM has created a Java Time Zone Update tool that will patch their (IBM) Java. This works on DB2 as well as the WebSphere software family. Here is the link: http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/java/jdk/dst/index.html
I have used this for Linux and Windows and so far it seems to work. I needed to edit the runjtzuenv.bat (Windows) file to set the path to my Java 1.4.2 install and I set DISCOVERONLY=False. When I ran the tool a window popped up and gave me the choice to search for all IBM java to update or specify which ones I wanted updated.

The DST saga continues. I am upgrading our FP7 DB2 windows server to
FP14 today. Anybody have any problems with the FP?

Hey Monty6,
Our contractors only installed Fixpack 14 on the db2 servers. Was
this correct? I hope so! Hehe.

Just want to verify a few things
Assuming I only have FP14 to be DST compliant I need to install FP14 on
all db2 server(s), admin clients, & run time clients prior to 03-11 TIA
