Well, well, well,
It's Robert Goethel! Hehe. How have you been? When we installed
Fixpack 14 (from DB2 vsersion 8.2, Fixpack 7, on Windows 2003), we
experienced problems with the Control Center. Below is what our
contractor had to do to fix the problem. Our contractor said that IBM
told him that this problem does not occur on every server that is
running Windows. So you ma not have any problems!
DBA Team
IBM supplied us with Hotfix 16889 to fix the issue with the long running
javaw.exe program. This thread was locking out other users and other
threads. I applied the hotfix at noon on Tuesday, 2/13/07.
The hotfix corrected all the known issues with the locks and the
javaw.exe program running. The task center issue was also fixed as
well.
PMR 38264-442 has been closed since all is fixed and corrected.
Please contact me if you have any additional issues.
Thanks!
Frank Velasco

The DST saga continues. I am upgrading our FP7 DB2 windows server to
FP14 today. Anybody have any problems with the FP?

Hey Monty6,
Our contractors only installed Fixpack 14 on the db2 servers. Was
this correct? I hope so! Hehe.

Just want to verify a few things
Assuming I only have FP14 to be DST compliant I need to install FP14 on
all db2 server(s), admin clients, & run time clients prior to 03-11 TIA
