Timeout occured while calling a GCF interface function

I got the following messages in yesterday's db2diag.log. DB2 had
apparently just finished archiving logs in a test database and then
nothing else was logged till about 1/2 an hour later:

We got the GCF Timeout error once before, during our on-line backup
time period, and I increased the status_timeout parameter at that
time to 60 seconds:
FM_ON = no # default
FM_ACTIVE = yes # default
START_TIMEOUT = 600 # default
STOP_TIMEOUT = 600 # default
STATUS_TIMEOUT = 60 # updated by db2fm
STATUS_INTERVAL = 20 # default
RESTART_RETRIES = 3 # default
ACTION_RETRIES = 3 # default
NOTIFY_ADDRESS = [Email Address Removed] # default

Can anyone shed some light on these errors for me? Also, can anyone
please explain what the last message means? These messages generally
show up after the logs have been archived.
