Has anybody moved DB2 instance from one file system to the different one
on HP-UX leaving database intact? Any problems doing this? I am
planning to run db2relocatedb, then drop current instance, create the
same instance specifying new file system in the parms. Do you know of
any hidden problems?
Thanks,
Igor.

Beginning with Version 8 in DB2/LUW, you can use a query similar to the
following:
SELECT TEMPID FROM APPLICANT
EXCEPT
SELECT TEMPID FROM INTERVIEW;
This query will select all of the rows in APPLICANT that do not exist in
INTERVIEW for the column TEMPID.
Or, use an * to check all columns, or list the specific columns, in
both
tables to see which rows are different
