Edwin,
I have had issues with crash Recovery my suggestion is to kill or cancel
all the threads associated with the recovery and restore your database it
will be much faster.

Subject: Crash recovery taking 99% CPU resource and taking
hours
09/29/04 02:24 AM
Hi all,
I have a DB2 8.1 database running on Windows2000Server with 1GB of
memory, database is roughly 2GB of ACCPAC's database. I decided to
reboot my server as the users are getting hanged up, after the restart
of the server, the event log reports ADM1530E: Crash recovery has been
initiated. It's been 2hours and it hasn't finished, any recommendation
on what I should do?
Cheers,
EDWIN ONG UY
