Re: Need Help for DB2 restore

Can you send the error message that you are getting.

Also specify the Version of Db2 on the Second Server and its OS as well.

You need not to use the Redirect Option if you do *not* intend to change
the TableSpace Containers that the Old DB was using.

Need Help for DB2 restore

Hi,

Need some help for DB2 restore.

We are running one DB2 (Version 6) Database Server in a Windows NT box
(Server1). There is a DB in this Server named DB1. I have the latest
backup available with me. I want to restore this to another Server
(Server2) with a different Database name (DB2).

We tried the redirect option but it is failing.

I appreciate if you could provide us some information (steps) on how to
restore this.

Thanks in Advance
