RE: no file system cache

RE: no file system cache

I think its to have a double buffering strategy. The data will be held
in the bufferpools but would also be in the file system cache. Besides,
clob data does not go to the bufferpools. It'll be available in the file
cache.

Subject: no file system cache

Can anyone think of a reason why you would not want to change an sms
tablespace to 'no file system cache' ? I seem to remember reading that
once a while back but can't remember why.

Thanks!
