Re: C compile for DB2 stored procedure

Hi Lisa,

Thanks for your response.

Could someone please help me how to set java compiler instead of c compiler?

Thanks in advance
Sami

you need to have a c compiler in order for it to compile the proc. Most
db platforms have an internal compiler that is invisible to us. For Sun
OS I use the gcc compiler (comes free with the OS) instead of the Forte C
compiler that IBM recommends (which costs $$)

[Email Address Removed] compile for DB2 stored procedure

Hi All,

Is it possible to compile db2 stored procedure without having C/C++
compiler setup?
Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks
Sami
