Db2 Version 8.2 LOGARCHMETH1
Hi All,
We are migrating soon to UDB version 8.2 on Solaris from Version 8.1.
I wish to use online database backups and enable rollforward recovery.
Can this be achieved by setting the parameter LOGARCHMETH1 to
DISK:/pathname .
Are there other DB CFG parameters that I should set.
I do not want to use the userexit program d2uext2.
Is this possible ?
(I'm finding documentation on the IBM site a bit confusing).
Regards ,
Tom
