You should investigate the use of the DB2GOV command.
The governor allows you to set a configuration File where you specify:
Set idle time 1800 action force;
You decide with the interval how often you want the governor to wake up, say
every 300 seconds
It will then force all idle connections that are over 1800 seconds.

Please can you send me any sample script on unix/aix to kill the idle
threads in db2.
I want to schedule a script which runs every 3 hours, which kills all idel
threads (hanging for more than 30 minutes in DB2)
