DB2 UDB v9 on Linux

I've never tried it, I actually just thought of it 5 minutes ago, but maybe you could use the SYSIBMADM.SNAPSTMT view to list currently running applications and make decisions off of that?

It holds the AGENT_ID which can be forced if over a certain STMT or USR CPU time?


This is a total hack right off the top of my head so enter at your own risk.

The governor is reactive. If you want to be proactive, you will need to us query patroller, which is not free.
