Hi

I have installed db2 on Linux, I have created an instance and the
database. When I sign on with my instance user I get the following
error:-

Last login: Tue Nov 27 10:00:47 2007 from 10.30.27.30

/smdev/.profile: syntax error: `then' unmatched

I think the error has an impact in that the system does not seem to
recognize any db2 commands I type.

Thanks in advance
