RE: Memory Allocation ...

RE: Memory Allocation ...

1. You can change db configuration without connecting to the db.

db2 update db cfg for <db name> using ....

2. Look into ESTORE option for 'create bufferpool...' for using bigger
bufferpools in 32-bit.

Subject: Memory Allocation ...

I have 32-bit DB2 on 32-bit AIX. I created an additional bufferpool and

right after began getting this error when ever i issue a db2 command I
get
this is the db2diag.log

RETCODE : ZRC=0x850F0005=-2062614523=SQLO_NOSEG
"No Storage Available for allocation"
DIA8305C Memory allocation failure occurred.

I cannot even issue a command to reduce the bufferpool or drop it all
together.

Can anyone tell what I have to do to fix it ?

Thanks

Edward
