Table Partitioning Question

Table Partitioning Question

Guru's,?

? This is Version 9, FP2, on Solaris.

? Does anyone know the proper syntax, to partition giving a starting and ending
date, where I want a partition every week ??

?I've tried:

( STARTING '2006-05-31-00.00.00.000000'? ENDING '2007-12-26-23.59.59.999999'
EVERY 1 week )

Which gives me the error:

SQL0104N? An unexpected token "week" was found following "9.59.999999' EVERY
1".? Expected tokens may include:? "<space>".? SQLSTATE=42601

I can successfully use EVERY 1 DAY, but I really don't want 500+ partitions, I
want them by week.

?If no one knows, I'll have to manually create the 52+ Partitions.

?Any suggestions ?

Chip
