Ado,

First take a snapshot for you're existing param's and then change them ,
the only param's which can make a dbm to not start are Buffer pool sizes
even that db2 will make four hidden (in case you have four different
sizes of tablespaces ) so go ahead and change them :)

I am using DB8 UDB v8.2 on AIX. I ran the following:
$ db2 autoconfigure apply none

This recommends values for parameters. After changing these values, if
DB2 cannot start, where (what files for both dbm and db parameters) do I
need to open in order to reverse my changes?
