start doing your sql and when there is a failure just issue a rollback.
all the sql will be rolled back unless autocommit is on.

Creating a Unit of Work
On of the projects requires us to write a bunch of sql statements as a
unit of work and they should be written in such a manner that if any one
of the statement within the group of statement fails the entire group,i.e
UOW needs to be rolled back.
How do I do this?
