Hi,
have a question for peoples using db2 UDB ESE in a multipartion db env ,
DB2 recommends using /db2home as NFS mount point so all the nodes can
see and share the /db2home/db2inst1 ....., but in last months we
realizes this is a bottleneck performance for coordinator master node
so they recommend trying to have /db2home local on each node / machine ,
we done this but are some of the files which need to be shared and see
in same time see by all the nodes, so we have a new NFS mount point
where we store the db2diag .log ....
My questions for the DB2 guru guys is : are other files which needs to
be added to this new NFS mount point so the db and db2 can function
properly?
Is anyone there using this solution having /db2home local on each node
in ESE multipartion db...any advise from experience will be really
appreciate it,
