Re: SQL30082N -- reason 17

Eric,

I'm just guessing, but I think that the password for the remote userid in your user mapping has changed.

If that's the case, the fix is simple. Either alter the user mapping to have the new password, or create a new user mapping with a userid and password that you know.

Harv

Hi DB2 Gurus,

Have someone here already tried DRDA federated connection using DB2 UDB 7.2
(fixpack 3) on Linux to ISeries Version 5 Release 4? I was able to establish
connectivity on both machines, but when trying to connect to the federated
server (iseries) I'm getting this error message ""SQL30082N Attempt to
establish connection failed with security reason "17" ("UNSUPPORTED
FUNCTION"). SQLSTATE=08001"".

Appreciate your help on this.

Thanks,

Eric
