RE: Tables space is not allowed problem

Hi,

You will have to check the db2diag.log in which the tablespace state can
be get and if the tablespace is quiseced then you have to ask the user
who has quiseced it to release and you can get the tablespace state by
issuing a command

Db2 list tablespaces show detail
In the output of this command you will see the tablespace state that can
give you idea what happened to the tablespace, then check the
db2diag.log to get the culprit application which has quiseced it and do
the release if it is YOU or ask the user who has done it.

Subject: Tables space is not allowed problem

Hi all,

I'm using DB2 LUW 9.1

For some reason my table space is in restrictive mode so I cannot do any
transaction. Does anyone know how I can terminate that problem? I even
try to drop it, but it won't allow me.

Please help

db2admin:/db2/instancename/data3>db2 "load query table tablename"

SQL0290N Table space access is not allowed. SQLSTATE=55039
