We are currently DB2 v8 fp14 on AIX and one of our old applications
requires that I run "DB2JSTRT 6790" so that it can communicate with DB2
over port 6790. I don't do java so I don't even know what "type" driver
this is - 1,2,3 ( obviously not type-4).
As I get ready to test a migration from v8 to v9.5, I notice that db2jstrt
is no longer available - does this mean that this application just drops
dead until it is re-written, or is there a work-around for this ?
