HI,
Create a local copy of the db2profile in your home directory.
This way you can tailor the profile to your needs.
Then execute it from your home directory.
Ashim.

Subject: Permission denined while sourcing the db2profile
Hi,
I am getting /usr/bin/.: Permission denied error message while sourcing
the db2profile on a Solaris server using the following command
> . /export/home/db2inst8/sqllib/db2profile
Other ids are able to source the db2profile successfully on the same
server. Do I require any privilege to source the db2profile?
Have any body faced such error?
Thanks,
Suba
