I have installed DB2 EE(single partition) v 8.2 on 2 separate servers
(Node A Node B); I also have installed Windows Clustering Service. When
Node A fails over to Node B I would like the scheduler to continue
working thus running backups, but I can't seem to figure out what to do
to make this happen.



I have a "Generic Service" in Windows Clustering which starts the DAS
and DB2 services on Node B as desired but I have no idea where to load
the toolsdb or even it that makes any difference. I have read the tools
db can be separate from the scheduler but I have no idea what that
means.



As you can tell, I am new to DB2 and I apologize for sounding so vague;
I would greatly appreciate any ideas of how to make this work. This is
for our Production environment.
