It is very much a case of your finding out if it is faster to:
A) Restore a fullimage, then restore the incremental((s) and then just do a
short roll forward
Or
B) Restore the full backup and then roll forward through all the logs.
Also take into consideration that by using an incremental strategy you do
not have to take full images as often.
Time to take backups, number and size of images and time to restore are the
issues you have to determine.
There's no simple general answer. Each db environment is different.
Regards, Pierre.

Objet : incremental or full backup
Hi all,
Which is the better option for taking the backup, whether its incremental
or full backup?why?? suggest me .
My client wants to go for incremental backup, but my preference will be
the fullbackup .
for restoration process incremental backup will
take more time than current. Because if we do incremental backup, during
restoration we have to restore full backup and then add the incremental
backup.
