I have a question... Management in my shop would like DBAs to use a
product called BladeLogic to do 100% of our database support.
Primarily, they want us to use a feature called "NSH" (Network Shell,
N-Shell) to communicate with our UNIX-based database servers. NSH is
like a pseudo terminal emulator.
Are any of you DBAs out there familiar with BladeLogic and the N-Shell?
Do any of you use BladeLogic and/or the NSH as the exclusive means for
communication with and management of your databases?
Thanks for any info you can provide.
