Strange things occuring with identity clause

Strange things occuring with identity clause

Hi,

I'm on db2 udb 8.1 fp 3 /aix 5.2
All tables have a surrogated key using an identity generated always.

It has occured twice on 2 tables in a test environment that an insert failed on SQL-803 because the identity counter was set back to a lower value.
The cure is easy : drop the pk and do an alter table ... restart with ...., recreate the pk.

Any ideas on this ?

I've talk to IBM support and there is no bug related to this on 8.1 fp3.

Thanks,
