Hi,

I was just playing with this feature too. I found when I issued a commit
after the QUIESCE, I could backup my database.

DB2 BACKUP QUESTION






I am trying to back up the DB and getting error "The database is currently
in use".

QUIESCE DATABASE IMMEDIATE FORCE CONNECTIONS
DB20000I The QUIESCE DATABASE command completed successfully.

CONNECT RESET
DB20000I The SQL command completed successfully.

BACKUP DATABASE RRC TO "D:\DB2_BACKUP\" WITH 1 BUFFERS BUFFER 1024
PARALLELISM 1 WITHOUT PROMPTING
SQL1035N The database is currently in use. SQLSTATE=57019

Any idea ?
