Hi,
We spent a lot of times trying to fix that problem.
First of all, review your code to make sure that cursors are closed and memory is released.
Then you can increased the number of packages.
We have spent time with 2 IBM consultants one java guy and one dba to help us in that matter, we had to use workarounds in the code (like closing the session and reconnect).

Use db2jdbcbind -h and get the syntax, you need to bind some extra packages
as you are not freeing up your statements & cursors. use 20 as the

Installation: DB2 UDB-8.2 (8.1 with fixpack ...7a) on AIX-5.2
The application has access the data base for reading of a table and writing
in two others. The tables possess few data (little more than 1000 lines).
