Hi DB2ers,
I am facing an issue connecting with ODBC to DB2 UDB 8.1 on windows.
I have three machines:

1) a DB2 UDB server (DB2 enterprise installed)
2) another UDB DB2 server (DB2 enterprise installed)
3) a normal client (DB2 Runtime in stalled)


When I connect from either of the two machines with enterprise installed
with ODBC I have no problems...

When I connect from the "normal client" I get:
SQL30082N Attempt to establish connection failed with security reason
"24". ("USERNAME AND PASSWORD INVALID")

What should I do to get the client to work?

A check of the security settings shows one server has:
db2 update dbm cfg using trust_clntauth client
db2 update dbm cfg using trust_allclnts yes
db2 update dbm cfg using authentication client

The other has:

db2 update dbm cfg using trust_clntauth client
db2 update dbm cfg using trust_allclnts yes
db2 update dbm cfg using authentication server

Both I cannot connect to from this client.
