Hi DBAs,

I am having a problem taking a backup of a DB2 UDB 8.1 server running on windows 2000.

I tried to initiate the backup from the control center and I get the error:

DBA1177N A database connection to the Tools Catalog Database "TOOLSDB" cannot be made. SQLCODE "1013"

I tried to create a database called TOOLSDB but it didn't help. I recall when installing the system I said no to install tools catalog...

How do I resolve this so I can take my backups from control center?
