Hello all;

If I do export of data from a DB2 UDB Database on UNIX Solaris to a
IXF or DEL format of lower version (5.2) wow to old of DB2/UDB
Can I load these data back on an NT DB2 UDB Database (V8.1)

I am planning to create these tables with the new version 8 first.
These tables have no constraints, no stored proc no auditing.
Just a small plain tables that each have a primary key.

Theoretically This is very possible. Should I worry about the new
tables on version 8 or they will be create as described by the DDL?


DOES ANY ONE KNOW IF THIS CAN BE DONE HAS IT EVER BEEN TESTED?
OR I HAVE TO UPGRADE THIS DATABASE FROM 5.2 TO 6.0 THEN 7.0 THEN
8.0?
