Hi folks !

This is my first post to this list. I've recently downloaded and
tried DB2 v8 Express Edition. I've installed it on a P III 500 Mhz with
256 RAM development box running Win XP and I've found that the admin
tools, specially the Command Center, are now huge resource consumers
(compared to DB2 v6.1).
The installation notes just says this:

Hardware requirements
An Intel x86 compatible processor

Does anybody knows what are the minimum required hardware to run
it properly ? Is there any arcane way to make it run faster / using
less resources ? I feel stupid asking this, It's just that we will not
be able to upgrade all our hardware anytime soon.
